Biomorphic: ‘bios' meaning life and 'morphe' meaning form.
The Biomorphic series of organic light sculptures are one-of-a-kind and crafted by hand. This is a second-generation light sculpture, more durable than previous iterations. The light sculpture has a smooth, lightly water resistant finish. Recommended for indoor use only. Description: White table lamp. G16 lamp socket. Included round globe 40W, candelabra bulb in a soft white. 7’-0” clear cord. This particular Biomorphic light fixture is upright, functioning as a task or reading lamp.

Care instructions: Studio Chora's stone composite products are compressed and burnished to a natural white finish. The finish may be cleaned with a wet rag or mild cleaning product. A beeswax will maintain the tactile surface texture and bring out natural color variation in the plaster. *Please note, hairline micro fissures may appear and are not damage. They are superficial resulting from temperature change during the setting phases and are to be embraced as part of the wabi-sabi aesthetic and philosophy. Additionally, a light coat of beeswax will fill the micro fissure(s).

Trained as an architect, her work focuses on post-Deleuzian philosophy as a critical tool for articulating gender. She handcrafts one-of-a-kind sculptures, drawings, technical and artistic visuals, pneumatic dinner parties, and augmented reality experiences.
