  • Width: 3’-8”

  • Depth: 2’-2”

  • Weight: ~40 lbs

  • Cable suspension, 2’-1” off-white cloth lamp wire

  • Mounted to 3-1/4” plaster ceiling plate

  • Seven medium-base dimmable bulbs (included)

  • Indoor use only; lightly water-resistant

Invader Chandelier, N.005

Part of Studio Chora’s Biomorphic Series, the Invader Chandelier is conceived as a feminist gesture—reclaiming ornament, material labor, and spatial assertion. Hand-shaped from composite paper clay and mineral gypsum plaster, its surrealist curves and warped shades reimagine the chandelier as both functional light and spatial sculpture. Ironic in its very opulence, Invader uses the language of luxury design to question the hierarchies and exclusions that often define it—disarming with familiarity while carrying profound cultural and theoretical weight.

Care
Burnished natural white plaster; occasional waxing will enhance tonal variations and protect the surface.
